PeerPal

Overview

PeerPal is a student peer-grading tool that connects to the Canvas Learning Management System and provides professors and students with an efficient and effective peer-grading workflow. Once a professor creates an assignment, they can use our tool to automatically create a new peer-grading assignment. The site matches peers to submissions and once the reviews are in, uploads the grades to the peer-grading assignment.

Responsibilities

• Developing student peer-grading tool used with any learning system partnered with the IMS Global Consortium
• Created Next.js API routes to get/post students, assignments, submissions, and grades through Canvas LMS
• Coordinate weekly team and faculty agile stand-up meetings to review progress and set sprint goals and tasks
